C Verse-The One You’ve Been Waiting For

October 10, 2011 Katrina RyderFull of Fruit

It’s time for yet another Letter Verse to help conform our children into perfectly behaving little automatons. Oh wait.  Just kidding. It is a little trickier than that. In fact, your kids are going to have to do just what we adults have to do when we learn a verse–be changed by it. Shorty after…Continue reading C Verse-The One You’ve Been Waiting For

Beavers in the House

September 30, 2011 Katrina RyderLetter Verses

Don’t worry. There aren’t really beavers in my house.  It’s just that every time I started thinking about the “B Verse” post, I was thinking of myself speaking in my awesome ghetto-hood wannabe voice shouting (scissor hands pointed sidewise, head cocked confidently), “B VERSE, in da HOUSE!” And then of course, all I could think…Continue reading Beavers in the House

About me

Hi! I'm Katrina. I'm married to an elementary school music teacher and am mom to three crazy kids. Formerly a high school teacher and missionary, I now stay home and give myself pedicures and eat bon-bons, while never avoiding sarcasm. Actually, I homeschool two of my three kids, substitute teach, and work seasonally at a farm. These days my blog is mostly a venue for information about my homeschool classes, but you can find all kinds of fun old posts about faith, finances, food, and family. I also have archives of The Poorganic Life food blog and You Go Girl! Bible studies. I love Jesus, my family, libraries, audiobooks, Harry Potter, hip-hop dance, gardening, Hamilton, and eating crusty bread. I am available for freelance editing and speaking engagements.

Where’s the one about . . .?
