Hi! I'm Katrina. I'm married to an elementary school music teacher and am mom to three crazy teenagers. Formerly a high school teacher and missionary, I now stay home and give myself pedicures and eat bon-bons, while never avoiding sarcasm. Ha! Actually, I keep very busy homeschooling two of my three kids, substitute teaching, directing Shakespeare plays, and working seasonally at a local u-pick farm. These days my blog is mostly a venue for information about my homeschool classes, but the archives contain my old posts about faith, finances, food, and family. I also have archives of The Poorganic Life food blog and You Go Girl! Bible studies. I love Jesus, my family, libraries, audiobooks, Harry Potter, talking about the Enneagram, gardening, Hamilton, and eating crusty bread.

Oh — and I am totally trying your whole wheat bagel recipe sometime too.
And I sent you a message on twitter, before I remembered that you hated it.
But I still meant it. For realz.

Awww, such a sweet story of sweet Addie, love, love that name. Isn’t it funny how our dreams change and change us in ways we can’t imagine? Yes, I’m pretty sure there are multiply country songs about this!
